OUR STORY

All or Nothing:

After nearly calling it quits, Between Cities claims the spotlight with an international top-tier production. While today’s music industry runs on anonymity and artistic masquerades - think Sleep Token, PRESIDENT and GHOST, Between Cities pushes back.

Where others hide behind conceptual masks, Between Cities seeks out raw unfiltered reality. The result is a sound that doesn’t transcend Dutch borders; it simply ignores them.

The International Standard

Ten years of closed doors and growing doubt, until only one choice was left: pull the plug, or go all in. They went all-in.

Together with British top producer Dan Weller (Caskets, Enter Shikari), Between Cities built the sound the Netherlands has been missing for a decade. Emotional post-hardcore meets razor-sharp pop hooks - a combination that doesn’t ask for attention, it takes it.

“We wanted to make music without masks,” the band says. “In a world addicted to anonymity and to hiding who you really are, we chose the opposite end: vulnerable reality.” Conversations between friends - about feeling stuck, about identity, about not knowing where you stand, are the backbone of the songs. No rock personas, no theatrical statements. Just two musicians with nothing left to lose.

The numbers back it up. Streams tripled in record time, Apple and Spotify dropped them straight into the biggest rock playlists and support slots for acts like Hands Like Houses proved the international pull. Between Cities isn’t a promise anymore - it’s a fact. Proof that a Dutch band is operating on an international level again.

The towel isn’t going in the ring; it’s wiping the sweat off their foreheads after a set that sounds like the future of European alt-rock. And with that, Between Cities single-handedly breathes new life into the Dutch heavy scene on the international stage, after years of silence.

'...and this next band sent me their tunes, and I listened to them, and I completely fell in love with them immediately from the get-go. Like, a minute in, I was like: Man, these guys are gonna be my featured artists of the week. I absolutely love them'.
